Key Stage 3

English lessons in Key Stage 3 will engage students and develop skills in reading, writing and speaking and listening. Students will create texts for different audiences, in different styles from film reviews to horror stories and playscripts, to poems about vampires and werewolves. Students will explore different texts and have access to brand new class readers that they will not have seen at Primary School – tales of runaways, bravery, adventure and romance.
