Brownhills School is holding an Activities Week in which students can take part in a 2 day activity package from 18 to 19 July 2018. During this week, students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 will not be in timetabled lessons but instead will have an exciting range of activities to choose from.
This booklet can be found on our website and provides details of the programmes that we have planned. We have included a variety of activities to suit all tastes at a range of costs. For each activity, you will find a brief description of the programme, a suggested itinerary, an indication of costs and important information as appropriate.
Please be aware that places will only be secured by full payment and completion of the attached form. Payment will open at 8.30am on Monday 8th January 2018 at Student Services. Receipts will be given out to confirm placement allocation.
Please take some time to look through the booklet and decide with your son/daughter which activity they would like to participate in, complete the form and return it to school with full payment. Where packed lunches are required, those children entitled to a free school meal will have a packed lunch provided.
We have included as much information as possible about each programme at this stage. Once students have been allocated to an activity, more detailed information will follow. Please note that it may be necessary to make changes to published programmes which could include the cost of the event. If numbers are not sufficient to make a programme viable, it will not run.
It is essential that you sign and date the form to indicate that you agree to the choice made and give permission for your child to take part in the activity chosen.
Students should return their forms to Student Services by Friday 16 February 2018.
