Human Resources and Marketing Manager

 Pay Scale 8 point 31-36

£35,336- £40,578 (FTE)
ACTUAL SALARY £19,872 – £22,820

(3 days per week term time plus 2 weeks in Summer Holidays plus 5 additional days)

Brownhills Ormiston Academy is small and traditional school, with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We currently have 700 students aged 11-16 on roll. Our last Ofsted in 2017 graded the school good with a range of outstanding features.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious, smart and motivated individual with a solid understanding of HR in a school environment to manage all aspects of HR provision for the academy. The postholder will work in liaison with our external HR providers and will be responsible for ensuring that HR support across the academy is provided efficiently and effectively in accordance with our Trust and national policy to include Safer Recruitment, GDPR and employment law statutory requirements.

The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. This is a demanding post and will require someone who is highly organised and possesses excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, remains calm under pressure and can work to tight deadlines.
